Gamers around the world are wondering why the Fortnite screen is white and how to fix it. (December 5, 2021)
The majority of Fortnite players were happy to hear that Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 will start on Sunday instead of Epic Games' original plan for a release on Tuesday, December 7.
However, the class was supposed to be available to players at 10AM ET, but there have been a number of bugs and issues with the servers since the scheduled start time.
Originally, players did not have permission to play or other errors when trying to log in. This was due to the number of players trying to log in at the same time that Epic Games confirmed on the official Fortnite Twitter account that this was the biggest season. The launch in Fortnite history .
To combat this, Epic decided to add a queue that players would have to pass to access the new map. However, there were issues with this because after the countdown ended players would still not be able to log in because they would be required to restart their game.
Epic recently tweeted on their Fortnite Status account that there were no longer queuing issues and everyone was available to tune in and see what the new chapter had to offer. However, players are now stumbling upon a blank white screen.
Players, including myself, encountered a white screen error today, Sunday, December 5, 2021, and were wondering why the screen was white. For me personally, this happened the first time I logged into the game during the cut scene. However, More and more players are now facing exactly this problem. There is no reason for your screen to be blank, it seems that it is not because of the server but because of the client/game itself.

There are several ways to fix the white screen. The first is to wait 10 minutes to see if you end up loading into the game. If you can't, we recommend that you restart the game and try again since there is no other queue to wait.
Epic Games has tweeted to their Fortnite Status account that they are aware of the issue and are currently working on a fix and will provide an update with additional information as soon as possible:
