"We have always been very careful about the situation in the desert ... We fully understand that Morocco has a great sensitivity to this issue. This respectable position includes an unwillingness to influence the position that the United States of America may take.

The minister added: “We want a negotiating solution within the framework of the United Nations. In this context, we are ready to consider any solution that Morocco proposes, taking into account that it is not the responsibility of Spain to mediate, because this role must be played by the United Nations.

The official in the central government in Madrid confirmed that Spain is considering the possibility of the European Border Agency "Fronx" in the occupied city of Ceuta and Melilla, then increased: "We are studying the possibility of merging the Fronxx, even partially, in monitoring the external borders of the European Union in Ceuta and Melilla.Nothing will be done without agreeing with the authorities of the two cities, ”she said.
