Black View has launched its new BV8800 heavy-duty smartphone.
The Chinese company explained that the new BV8800 phone supports the MIL-STD-810H standard and protection classes IP68 and IP69K, and then it can withstand a fall from a height of 1.5 meters without damage with good resistance to dust and water, and the company is promoting the new phone through the option to take pictures underwater.
The new phone includes a 6.58-inch screen with a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels, with an image refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a brightness of 480 klm/m2.
Inside the phone, the MediaTek Helio G96 processor with 8 GB of random access memory beats, while the internal memory capacity is 128 GB.
The device is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, in addition to an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a depth camera, while the front camera works with a 16-megapixel camera. In addition, the phone is equipped with a 20-megapixel infrared camera based on two infrared lamps.
The new phone weighs 365 grams, comes in dimensions of 176.2 x 83.5 mm, and a thickness of 17.7 mm, with dual SIM support. The device is based on a battery capacity of 8380 mAh, which is charged with a capacity of 33 watts.
The BV8800 can also be used as a power bank to charge connected devices via reverse charging technology. The phone includes a fingerprint sensor, a customizable button, a digital pressure gauge, a GNSS module, and NFC.
Black View is a new company that was founded in 2013, and unlike the rest of the international companies such as Samsung, Apple, Sony and others, Black View has taken a different path and pledged to manufacture the best smartphones at the lowest prices with the usual warranty like any other company.
The company belongs to its founder, Zhou Ming, who believes that creating technology with huge specifications does not require a fortune.
The company has manufactured several smart phones so far, and among the most prominent phones launched by the company is the Black View 5000 phone (BV5000), which runs on the Android 5.1 operating system called (Andorid 5.1), and this system is called “Lollipop”.
