Payguru and Iyzico launch direct billing through mobile service providers

Payguru, a subsidiary of TPay Mobile FZ-LLC, announced the launch of a new Direct Billing Service for Mobile Service Providers (DCB) in partnership with Iyzico, the leading provider of Virtual Point of Sale (POS) solutions in Turkey. Consumers will be able to add credit recharge via Pay with Iyzico, through DCB - to improve access to financial services for consumers who do not hold credit or debit cards.

Although the population of Turkey without a bank account is 16 million, things are now improving thanks to flexible digital solutions, Iyzico offers online payment services and AI-based payment technologies to companies and institutions, and consumers will be able to top up the payment balance in Iyzico wallet via Bank transfers, credit cards and mobile balance transfers quickly and securely.

Iyzico serves more than 70,000 individuals through companies and more than 900,000 separate individuals, with an annual transaction volume of 18 billion TL. Payguru, the leading payments provider in Turkey, provides mobile services through three mobile operators, as well as bank transfers and ATM payments through eight major banks with over 84 million subscribers in the region. For popular brands, including Burger King and Tencent, it currently has more than 1,400 businesses on its platform and has processed more than 104.5 million transactions last year.

And the service of adding recharge to the digital wallet through mobile phone service providers is the first of its kind in Turkey. Nike, Puma, Yves Rocher and intimissimi were among the world's leading brands that Iyzico selected as their trusted partner.

The use of the new service will contribute to improving access to financial services by consumers who have limited access to traditional banking infrastructure by enabling them to make digital payments without the need for a bank account, credit or debit card, and thus local merchants will be able through this technology to access and accept payments in a seamless manner, changing the way companies and individuals pay and receive money.

This unified integration allows merchants to connect to 87 payment channels, helping them expand their business by increasing their reach to new customers as well as the unbanked, and offering innovative services such as linking operator tariffs, loyalty and incentive programs.
