Inheritance of Apple accounts and adding the heirs to the account

Technical companies have started to care recently to what is happening to user accounts when they died, which made Apple add a new feature to iOS 15 that allow users to add digital heirs contacts.

Apple prevented users from accessing the data, accounts and devices.

There was no clear or explicit way until Apple allows you to access this data even if you submit the necessary papers.

Apple has recently changed this method by introducing the digital heirs to its systems from iOS 15.Next 2.

The heirs can access all the data and accounts of the deceased users, after providing the necessary papers.

The user can also put up to 5 heirs in his Apple account, and they can access these data and devices.

Inheritance of Apple accounts and the use of the new feature

Although Apple allows users to add the heirs accounts to their account, the company asks the heirs to provide the necessary papers to prove their right to the account.

This means providing papers proving the entity of kinship in addition to papers proving death with a special key to reaching accounts.

These requirements remain easier to reach them and use them from the old position, as you need to file a case to prove genetics.

After that, the court ruling was submitted to Apple, which was rejecting many requests in turn, as the ruling was not obligated to it.

You can access this new feature by following the following steps:

Go to the Settings app in your iPhone, and then choose your ICLOD account by clicking on your photo at the top of the page.

After that, choose the Password and Protection Section via your ICLOD account, and these steps apply to Mac devices.

Then go to the heirs contact department, click on their choice to activate it and follow the instructions that appear to you.

And then you work to choose the contacts within your family if you use a family feature on the iPhone.

You can also add contacts via their email or their phone number if they are not in your family.

Then the system alerts the heirs contacts with the new change and sends them a special key that they must use to reach your account.

This private key is stored in their Apple account, and if someone refuses to enter the program, you receive an alert.

Your phone and other users must be iOS 15.2 until this feature works completely with them.
