Erikson has recently released two reports that predict their content in the world after the Kofid-19 and the future of the fifth generation networks in Egypt and around the world.The first report, "Ericsson Mobility Report", contains data related to local markets and highlights the distinctive trends of each market separately.The second report,"The reality of cities in the future” was also issued last month to give an evaluation about the spread of the fifth and independent networks that it carries to the markets around the world.
The report "The reality of the cities in the future" is the largest study issued by the Consumer Laboratory in Ericsson until the moment, as the future visions that Egyptian consumers expect to happen after the expiration of the Cofide-19 to 2025 period, through an opinion poll that included more than a thousand people between the ages of 1579.The report predicts the continuation of Egyptian consumers in practicing their usual daily activities such as remote work, learning via the Internet, obtaining electronic health care services, and online shopping, as well as adding 8 hours a week from their time to other activities that take place via the Internet and add an estimated 3.5 times of services to their daily activities online by 2025.
Given the spread of Kofid-19, the increase in the application of e-learning in schools and universities as well as remote work, and it is expected that e-learning will remain at the level of 50% while consumers expect to continue working remotely by 40% of the working hours..

The report relies on separate statistics from the Middle East and North Africa markets, where the fourth generation mobile networks' subscriptions won 32% by the end of 2020, while the fifth generation subscriptions were exceeded by the end of 2020.It is expected that the volume of fifth -generation contributions will increase in a large extent during the year 2021, while the entire region is expected to register 150 million subscribers for the fifth generation networks by 2026.
In this context, Ibrahim Al-Dafar, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Analysis in Ericsson, Middle East and Africa, said:The Middle East and North Africa region is the second largest growth rate for mobile phone data by 2026.These variables are compatible with expectations that the Egyptians are continuously directed towards adopting electronic transactions even after the removal of the epidemic.It is scheduled that the mobile phone networks and digital inclusion will play a major role in enhancing competitiveness and adapting to various variables, according to Egypt's Vision 2030 for digital transformation."
