Former announcer of Assad's regime, Kinda Nesli, appeared in Air Rahada suddenly in the dress of a Syrian refugee and in her first media appearance to justify her escape from Syria without accusing Assad's regime.
In an interview with the Irish "News Talk" radio, Nesley said yesterday, Monday, that she was forced to flee because of what she called the civil war after working on Syrian television and Syrian satellite television for about 19 years.
She added that she had made the decision to leave “for the sake of her children, their future, their safety and their well-being” and not for personal reasons after they were in a dangerous situation, as she put it.
During the interview, Nesli avoided talking about any role the Assad and Mei regime played in her emigration. She continued saying, "It is difficult to describe the situation in Syria."
In her account of the justifications for her migration, she stated that while she was presenting something live and miraculous about the use of a mobile phone, a bomb fell in her son ’ s school, killing a number of his friends and teacher.
She said, "In such circumstances, bombs are expected to fall every minute, so go to the bathroom when we wear half the clothes as you do not want to drag your neighbor into such a situation."
She went on to say, "It is a sort of saying that you want to live your life alone and do other things, but you expect death at every moment."
The former anchorwoman believed that Syria and Irrachet were similar and shared a great deal, and that the two peoples shared a lot of history, she said.
She confirmed that Raina loves Erin despite the concern about the language barrier at the beginning, adding that Ireland is now her home, and not a special place.
She said, "We will stay here to establish a foundation, and I hope that they are good young men who serve this country to return the favor in return for the love and safety that has come from here."
Since her absence from the screen of Assad's regime, announcer Kinda Nesli has not announced any political position in support of the Syrian revolution, nor has she shown any rejection of the crimes of Assad and Mei's forces against the Syrians.
It is noteworthy that several broadcasters and media men announced their dissension from Assad's regime and support the rising people after the outbreak of the Syrian revolution in 2011.
