In iOS 14, Apple has added a new feature to the accessories of the accessibility department called (Back Tap) that allows you to implement various procedures by double -click on the back of the iPhone, or click three times.
The Back Tap features you to connect the double or triple click options with a set of system tasks, such as: taking a screenshot, locking your phone, activating the silent position, or changing the sound level, and even running certain applications such as Google Assistant.
It also works with the automatic operations of the Shortcuts application perfectly..
You can also use the Back Tap to stimulate the shortcuts, which open a full new set of automation options using the homekit platform from Apple, for example: you can create a shortcut that occupies all lights in your home, then stimulate it by double -clicking on the back of the iPhone atWake up and sleep.
According to the people who installed the demo version of the iOS 14, the Back Tap features amazingly if the phone is open - i.e. inside the home screen - and within the applications (and this includes external applications), and even inside the lock screen.
This is not the first time that we see such a feature in smartphones, as HTC allows users to click and even click on the sides of the phone (+U12) to implement certain procedures.
Google Pixel phones also allow clicking on the screen while locking to check notifications;Google appears to test the customized double -click feature similarly in the Android 11 system.
