The Chinese company, Huawei, officially unveiled the “Children Watch 4 Pro” smart watch, along with the “Huawei P50” and “P50 Pro” smart series.
This version was unveiled by Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, at a recent event, according to Huawei Central.
And the “Children Watch 4 Pro” watch was equipped with an “AMOLED” touch screen, and it comes in a size of 1.41 inches and a resolution of 320 x 360 pixels, a size of 53 x 41 x 14.55 mm, and a weight of 57.5 grams.
The new Huawei watch comes with 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of flash memory, in addition to a 5-megapixel front camera, and its bracelets are made of anti-allergic silicone.
The watch provides a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 800 mAh, and it charges from zero to 50% within 20 minutes.
The watch supports 4G communication technology “G4”, “Wi-Fi” and Bluetooth, and the watch allows users to make video calls, it is also water-resistant (5ATM), and contains the feature of drying the headset, and there is also “GPS” support, along with voice control.
Sales of the Huawei Children's Watch 4 Pro are scheduled to start on August 30, with a starting price of $155.
The move to launch new products comes as part of the so-called fourth round of sanctions, imposed by the US government on Huawei.
In the same vein, the new “P50” series features a very simple and elegant design, where the rear is accentuated with the so-called “Dual-Matrix Camera Module” design, which is two concentric circles with multiple cameras.
The smartphones of the “P50” series will work with “HiSilicon Kirin 9000” and “Snapdragon 888” processors, but it will not support working with the “5G” networks.
The same event provided important information regarding the “HarmonyOS” system, which is already used by more than 40 million users so far, and which, according to Richard Yu, will be available for update starting from 2022 on all smartphones from “Mate 9” to 2016 and “P10”. for the year 2017.
Richard Yu did not mention whether the update will be available in the Chinese market or global markets specifically, stressing that all of these smartphones will be able to update to “HarmonyOS”.
