Casio unveiled the first solid smart watch of G-Shock using the Google Wear OS platform.
The GSW-H1000, part of the durable G-Squad Pro collection from Casio, features a set of sports features, which is also the first G-Shock equipped with a colored screen.
As you expect in the G-Shock watch, GSW-H1000 has a strong appearance with a titneum back for more durability to resist shocks and survive under water to a depth of 200 meters.
The watch gets the WEAR OS operating system in addition to the dual -layer display with a LCD screen that always works to view time along with a 1.2 -inch LCD color screen that can display maps, notifications, sensor data and other information.
These additions are the first time of their kind for G-Shock watches, although Casio uses the WEAR OS operating system in the Pro Trek smart line.
The watch also includes sensors, including the built -in GPS, visual heart rate sensor, compass, height, air pressure and more.
Casio 24 also includes internal exercise options and 15 activities, including running and cycling via roads, swimming or intense sports, such as: surfing and ice skiing.
Meanwhile, the Wear OS platform gives you access to smartphone notifications and many applications and access to Google Assistant.
As the main G-SQUAD line-based product, the GSW-H1000 is useful for use in a wide range of sports settings.
The screen features a three -level planning interface that users can customize to suit their goals.
But one of the big negative factors is the battery life that reaches 1.5 days with the color screen, although this extends to a month in a regular hour position.
Casio G-Squad Pro GSW-H1000 comes in red, black and blue colors and costs $ 700 in the United States and 600 pounds in the United Kingdom.
It is scheduled to arrive in mid-May, and although it has not yet appeared on the American G-Shock, but you can find it on the United Kingdom and request your alert upon its arrival.
