What is the outcome of Mohammed VI University of Technical Disciplines today?

Mohammed VI University has opened multidisciplinary disciplines by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in January 2017 in Benjarir, a university whose institutions are also in El -Ayoun, Rabat and Khouribga.

The university has known a remarkable development from its inception, as it embraces today about 3,500 students in the various leave and master's wires, 400 doctoral researchers and more than 100 students in the post -doctoral stage, and about 160 researchers.

These numbers respond to the first mission of the university represented in positioning as a center for scientific research and innovation in serving the problems and challenges facing the African continent, such as food security, sustainable manufacturing and climate change.

This system is accompanied by live laboratories, which are realistic experimental platforms for applied research, including the clean energy field in Benjeerir, in partnership with the Institute of Research in Solar Energy and New Energies, and a farm that extends over a hundred hectares that allow students to apply the innovations that they work on.We also have the largest "data center" in Morocco near the university, which enables students and researchers to access a very important mathematical capacity.

We have Moroccan students and 20 foreign nationalities, especially from sub -Saharan Africa, in addition to students from Europe, America and Asia, within the framework of the exchange between the university and its counterparts in the world.

And we adopt in teaching the French and English systems.There is a subject for engineering sciences in which only theoretical lessons are provided, but applied lessons, which is a system adopted by Anglo -Saxon universities.In the end, we try to adopt the best of all educational systems.

What people are distinguished by the university?

We have a division on collective intelligence, and our university is the first in the world to adopt Master on this topic that addresses everything related to the individual and his collective work by relying on several sciences, including neuroscience, history, philosophy and sociology.

We also adopted at the university a new way to make our students scholars in computers, by inserting computer science in the preparatory departments instead of adopting it later.

Students benefiting from the university scholarship represent more than 70 percent, and the only condition for university access is excellence, after studying the student's file and his social status through the Ibn Rushd Foundation.
