The Security Directorate in Sohag Governorate launched a campaign to arrest violators and outlaws, which resulted in the seizure of 30 unlicensed weapons, and the implementation of 1,301 court rulings, and the seizures were seized.
Major General Mohamed Sherbash, Sohag Security Director, received a notification from Major General Mohamed Zein, Director of Criminal Investigation, stating that a security campaign was launched to seize unlicensed and outlawed weapons. The seized weapons included 2 automatic rifles, an Israeli rifle, 7 shotguns, and a Lee Anfield rifle. 16 locally-made Russian individuals, 3 locally-made cartridges, 5 white weapons, and bullets, in addition to drug cases, surface issues, "littering, hunting, navigation, and the environment."
The officers of the criminal investigation departments, the flats, the drugs, and the investigation units of the centers and sections, supported by combat groups, from the Security Forces Department, in coordination with the Public Security Branch, participated in the campaign.
A campaign by the Traffic Department of the Sohag Security Directorate, on the roads to follow up the traffic situation, achieve traffic discipline, and apprehend violators, including drivers and vehicles, resulted in the arrest of 883 miscellaneous violations.
